I have owned this vacuum for about a year. It's great for picking up pet hair. Yes, it's HEAVY! But it's the best vacuum I've ever owned. My only real complaint is the handle release switch fell off and now I have to prop the vacuum up against a wall or else it falls over. For the money, it's a great buy.
