All I can say, its the best vacuum I ever used. I only use it on wood and tile floors, so cannot comment on carpet use. If you've been using the likes of Eureka, DirtDevil, Hoover...etc, it will feel like driving a Ferrari after years of driving a Chevy. it doesn't even SOUND like a vacuum.
