DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU HAVE CARPET!! Now that I have gotten that out of the way. This is a great vac if you have bare floors like tile or wood. If you have carpet, you will need a second vac, period! The canister is interesting in how it releases it's contents. There is a button on the side that opens the bottom lid. The only issue I have is that the cord sometimes wants to retract, which causes it to unplug. There is a button that is suppose to retract it, but I have noticed it retracting without pushing the button. I wish the cord was longer.
