Yes, the Dyson will suck up dirt beautifully. But, you need your head examined to buy it: 1. It is positively nasty to clean. 2. It breaks frequently and is a pain to send for repair. 3. The warranty people have to be called at least 3 times to get a response like where to go for repairs or where to send. My experiences with all other products via Amazon have beed great, but not this item.
